Beginning in June, students will be able to view, pay
and update information related to their student account
online, through the ISIS Student Billing Self-Service Web
site.
ISIS Self-Service is one element of the university's
ongoing commitment to a fully integrated student
information system accessible through the Web. The system
will provide students access to their records in one
location with the same interface for all administrative
users, faculty and advisers.
Strong authentication security assures confidential
access to billing information by students using any Web
browser and their JHED Login ID and password.
Many students are already familiar with viewing and
paying their bills online. The ISIS Student Billing
Self-Service application incorporates additional features
and benefits, including:
Real-time data that is available 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Payments made through ISIS Self-Service are
posted to the student's account and are visible
immediately.
In addition to a monthly bill, students have the
ability to view their account summary, which includes the
current balance; most recent charges, including tuition and
fees; payments; financial aid disbursements; and any
refunds that have been processed.
Filtering options allow transactions to be viewed by
date, all payments, all charges or all transactions. By
default, the account summary window initially displays any
activity for the last billing period, as well as any
activity since the last bill.
Through the ISIS Self-Service sign-on page, users can
quickly access contact information they might need,
including e-mail addresses and telephone numbers for the
Admissions, Student Accounts, Financial Aid and Registrar's
offices.
After June 6, students who have previously granted
authorized payers access to their account will need to
re-establish this access. Authorized payers can view all
account activity and make online payments.
When all the elements of the ISIS project are up and
running, students will be able to complete an application
for admission, as well as view financial aid, course
registration and billing information, through a single Web
site.
Students wanting to learn more about ISIS and how it
will impact them in 2006 can go to www.jhu.edu/isis or
contact the Student Accounts Office with any specific
questions.
