JHU Professional Clothing Drive
The next JHU Professional Clothing Drive collection date is
Oct. 19. As you sort through your clothes for the change in
seasons, separate any unwanted, gently used or new
professional apparel to donate to the Johns Hopkins
Professional Clothing Drives, which help formerly homeless
men and women successfully re-enter the workforce.
The clothing drive is organized by the Office of
Faculty, Staff and Retiree Programs.

410-516-6060. Future collections are scheduled for Jan. 18,
April 19, July 19 and Oct. 18.
Parkinson's Support Group
The Young Onset/Deep Brain Stimulation Parkinson's Disease
Education and Support Group meets monthly from 10 a.m. to 1
p.m., on Saturdays in room 2140 of the Johns Hopkins
Outpatient Center.
Upcoming meetings are scheduled for Nov. 11 and Dec.
9.
Led by a trained facilitator, meetings offer
educational seminars followed by time for sharing. Seminar
topics include research updates, treatment options, coping
skills, alternative therapies and diet and exercise
information.

United Voices Benefit for KAELA
Johns Hopkins United Voices gospel choir is sponsoring its
second annual fund-raiser, a concert and mini-auction to
benefit Caring for Kaela, the international children's
organization dedicated to building bridges of hope from one
community to another and to helping reduce poverty in Chad
in central Africa.
The event, an evening of praise and worship, will take
place from 7 to 9 p.m., on Nov. 11, at World Relief, 7 E.
Baltimore St. Semi-formal attire is suggested.

Washington Wizards Tickets
The Office of Faculty, Staff and Retiree Programs announces
a partnership with the Washington Wizards for the 2006-2007
basketball season. Faculty, staff and retirees can order
discounted tickets online for selected Wizards home games.
Lower- and upper-level tickets are available at discounts
of up to 50 percent off.

Celtics on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. at the Verizon
