Faculty Tech Fellows Demonstrate Innovative Teaching,
Learning Tools
Originally established as a Homewood-based initiative,
the Technology Fellows Program, which assists in developing
innovative teaching and learning tools, is now available to
any full-time Hopkins faculty teaching courses open to
full-time undergraduates. For the 2005-2006 round of
funding, faculty from all eligible divisions submitted
proposals.
This week, recipients from the schools of Arts and
Sciences, Engineering, Nursing, Medicine and Advanced
International Studies, and the Peabody Institute, will
present their projects at the 2005-2006 Technology
Fellowship Program Symposium. The event will be held from 1
to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, in 210 Hodson Hall on the
Homewood campus.
The digital projects, developed by faculty and student
fellows and coordinated by MSEL's
Center for Educational
Resources, will be described briefly by participating
faculty; following the presentations, the projects will be
demonstrated on 20-inch monitors.
The Technology Fellows Program is funded through the
Office of the President and the Smart Family Foundation.
