Remote Access to Welch Library

On Oct. 1, the Welch Library's RAUL system will cease operating because its technology cannot be upgraded to meet current security requirements. JHSecureVPN (Virtual Private Network) will be the first option for accessing the library's electronic resources and services from your home or on the road.

Current RAUL users should disable RAUL settings on their browsers and download and install VPN clients to their desktops. For more information about installing VPN, go to www.it.jhu.edu/remoteaccess.html.

For further assistance, contact IT@JH at 410-516-HELP or e-mail at support@jhu.edu.

Stressbusters Training

The Stressbusters — teams of JHU students trained to give free, five-minute backrubs to students and staff — and the Center for Health Education and Wellness are sponsoring a training session for those who wish to learn how to give stress-reducing massages.

The session will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Tues., Sept. 26, in the AMR1 Multipurpose Room on the Homewood campus.

For more information, e-mail stressbusters@jhu.edu.
