Grilled food, music, kids' games and a beautiful day--all the ingredients for a summer afternoon
of fun--were combined in the right proportions on June 22 in the backyard of Johns Hopkins at
Eastern to make the 2007 university picnic memorable for all the 2,000 staff, faculty and family
members in attendance.
From planning to execution, scores of university staff from all levels of administration
volunteered for the event, by now a Hopkins summer staple, which is organized by the Office of
Faculty, Staff and Retiree Programs.
