Career Fair 2007
The Public Health Career Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to
3 p.m. on Friday, March 2, in the Bloomberg School of
Public Health's Feinstone Hall and Room W2008. The fair is
open to all undergraduate and graduate students looking
for full-time, internship, consultancy and fellowship
positions in corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors.
Among the 40-plus employers scheduled to attend are Abt
Associates, Academy for Educational Development, Centers
for Medicare & Medicaid Services, HealthCore Inc.,
Maryland Department of Health & Mental Hygiene and
Worldwide Orphans Foundation.
The Career Fair is sponsored by the Bloomberg

Business for Scientists
The JHMI Professional Development Office is pleased to
announce a new course, Business for Scientists, to be
offered in conjunction with faculty from the Kellogg
School of Management.
This three-module certificate course will introduce
business concepts and industry-specific tools and
frameworks to professionals interested in biotechnology,
enabling participants to understand how innovation moves

CLF Predoctoral Fellowship Program
The Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future is now
accepting applications for its 2007-2008 Predoctoral
Fellowship Program.
Johns Hopkins predoctoral students from any division
of the university, including those applying to a doctoral
program at the time of this application, are eligible for
support during any stage of their doctoral program.
Each fellowship provides one year of support in an
amount up to $50,000 to be used for tuition, stipend
and/or research expenses depending on individual needs.
Current CLF fellows may apply for academic year 2007-2008
to compete equally with new applicants.
While receiving support from the CLF, fellows will be
expected to participate in appropriate CLF activities, to
represent CLF at selected meetings and to serve as a
scientific resource to CLF. Awards will be announced in
early May.
