SAIS hosts 'Empowering Women in Global
Development'
In cooperation with SAIS, Student Movement for Real Change and
Americans for
Informed Democracy will this week host a daylong conference to
examine how
organizations today are empowering women through a wide range of
tools and
programs from microfinance to family planning to fair trade
businesses to access
to child care.
"Empowering Women in Global Development" will take
place from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, in the Nitze Building's Kenney
Auditorium. A
