Johns Hopkins Nursing in Global Humanitarian
Relief
Sponsored by the School of Nursing and the
Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing, this one-week
intensive course prepares nurses to participate in
humanitarian relief efforts within the United States and
internationally. The course, which is offered
for academic or continuing education credit, takes place
from Jan. 14 to 18, at the School of Nursing.

Help Needy Families
The Vernon Rice Memorial Butterball Turkey Program provides
Butterball
turkey gift certificates to families in need. To
participate, send a check or money order, in $15
increments and made payable to JHU Butterball, to the
Office of Faculty, Staff and Retiree
Programs, room 631-N, Wyman Park Building, 3400 N. Charles
St., Baltimore, MD 21218-2693. Checks
must be received by Dec. 14 to assist with the December

The Adopt-a-Family/Adopt-an-Agency Program provides
families and individuals with gifts,
clothing and food that they might not otherwise be able to

Free Ballroom Dancing and Lessons
Beginners and advanced dancers on the Homewood campus are
