WJHU Radio Program Notes


This week on The Marc Steiner Show:

ù    Tuesday, Feb. 21, will feature a live town meeting on "The
Future of Juvenile Justice in Maryland," broadcast from Coppin
State College. 
     Guests include Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and Stuart
Simms, secretary of the Maryland Department of Juvenile Justice.

ù    On Wednesday, Feb. 22, the topic is "Should Casino Gambling
Be Legal in Maryland," with Valerie Lorenz, director of the
Compulsive Gambling Center.

ù    On Thursday, Feb. 23, the show will present a debate on the
Bill of Rights: original intent vs. contemporary interpretation.
How literally should we interpret the Constitution?

     The Marc Steiner Show is a public affairs call-in program
broadcast every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 8:30
p.m. on WJHU, 88.1 FM.  Topics and guests are subject to change. 

     Also this week, media critic Mark Crispin Miller talks about
current issues at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24.
