Latte comes to the library

Johns Hopkins Gazette Online Edition

Coffee, cookies, Italian sodas, muffins, brownies and bagels are being sold and served for the first time in the Milton S. Eisenhower Library. The newly constructed coffee cart was designed and constructed in Seattle, then shipped here, according to operator Ashley McCauley.

The cart, which will be in service every day from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. or midnight, is being operated through a partnership of The Coffee Mill and Straight From Seattle Espresso. Eventually, new seating will be purchased by the Class of 1998 in order to create a cafe environment. The library and members of the Student Council have been working on the project for many months. Pictured in the photo, from the left, cart operators Matt and Ashley McCauley stand ready for business with Rebecca Eddy, co-chair of the senior class gift; Puneet Chopra, a member of the Student Council; and Jim Neal, Sheridan Director of the MSEL.
