Career Symposium For Graduate Students

Johns Hopkins Gazette Online Edition

Issues facing graduate students entering into careers in science and research will be the focus of "Ph.D. Career Choices," a symposium series sponsored by the Graduate Representative Organization of the university in conjunction with the Graduate Student Association of the School of Medicine. The symposium, Nov. 4 to 19 on the Homewood campus, will include panel discussions, workshops and presentations. The graduate organizations on the university and the medical school campuses have worked with the Office of Career Planning and Development and Homewood Research Administration on this event, which is funded by the offices of the Homewood Dean of Students and the Homewood Dean of Academic Affairs, the GRO and the GSA. Events are free; workshops require preregistration and graduate student status.
