What is Adoremus?
Adoremus is the Johns Hopkins Christian a cappella group devoted to sharing music with the diverse student body and our neighborhood community. Adoremus is a body of believers committed to:
1) praising and worshipping God through music, and
2) spreading God’s word to Johns Hopkins University and the world. What type of music do we sing?
We sing a variety of different songs such as hymns, popular modern Christian music, and non Christian music that we change to have a Christian theme to it. Some music that we have sung in the past include music by Switchfoot, Starfield, Relient K, Rockapella, and Tenth Avenue North. What is an average practice like for an Adoremus member?
We practice two times a week as a group and have sectionals as well. Our practice consists of learning the music, fellowship, bible study, and sharing.
