In tribute to her service as Johns Hopkins' 12th provost, Kristina Johnson is presented with a specially made decoupage box adorned with images of a young Johns Hopkins and, on the exterior, the stained glass window in Gilman Hall that bears the university seal. The gift was presented at a celebration hosted by President Ron Daniels at the Johns Hopkins Club, where senior university administrators, deans, faculty, staff and students gathered to honor Johnson's service to the university. Johnson, who joined Johns Hopkins in 2007, was confirmed by the Senate on May 19 as undersecretary of the Department of Energy.
