- The Composition of Compounds: A resource logic account (working paper): A study of the compositional semantics of noun-noun compounds, which are frustrating from a compositional point of view since their meaning is precisely underdetermined by the meanings of the nouns that make them up. The account uses the linear logic formalism developed within LFG Glue semantics to argue that a satisfying compositional account can in fact be constructed, as long as the grammar is allowed to interface with pragmatics.
