(1998 All-Americans)

Johns Hopkins will return a solid nucleus of players in 1999, including its entire starting defense, two starting midfielders, its starting goalie, one starting attackman, and its top faceoff specialist. Among this group are five players who earned All-America honors in 1998:

Rob Doerr Sr. / D / 1st Team All-American in 1998.
One of the top one-on-one defenders in the nation. Finished fourth on the team with 60 groundballs in 1998.

Brian Carcaterra Jr. / G / 1st Team All-American and the recipient of the Ensign C. Markland Kelly Jr Memorial Award as the nation's top goalie in 1998.
Posted a 9.58 goals against average and a .625 save percentage in 1998. Will be the starting goalie for England in the upcoming ILF World Championships at Homewood Field.

A.J. Haugen Jr. / M / 1st Team All-American in 1998.
Established himself as one of the top young players in the nation last season as he scored 27 goals and added eight assists from his midfield position. Early candidate for 1999 Player-of-the-Year honors.

Matt O'Kelly Sr. / M / Honorable Mention All-American in 1998.
Finished fifth on the team in scoring with 21 goals and 10 assists last season. One of the most over-looked players in the nation.

Dylan Schlott Sr. / A / Honorable Mention All-American in 1998.
