Even if you are not working on gravity, you might have heard about Wednesday’s press release by the Event Horizon Telescope collaboration. The Astrophysical Journal Letters has a whole Focus issue on the landmark observation of the black hole in M87.
To top it off, LIGO’s O3 run started on April 1, and now all alerts are public. We can already welcome two more binary black hole mergers to the family: GW190408 and GW190412.
