It’s been a long summer!
It started off with a three-week visit at the KITP in Santa Barbara for the Gravast19 workshop The New Era of Gravitational-Wave Physics and Astrophysics (June 10-28), then we flew to Europe.
I attended the GR22/Amaldi13 meeting in Valencia, Spain (July 7-12).
For about three weeks I was a visitor at the Amaldi Research Center, an interdisciplinary Center for Gravitational Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Rome dedicated to Edoardo Amaldi (July 15-August 2).
From there I went to the LISA in Lisbon workshop (August 16-17).
Finally I attended the Simons Program Current Themes in High Energy Physics and Cosmology – Physics and Astrophysics in the Era of Gravitational Wave Detection in beautiful Copenhagen (August 19-23). The lecture room at the Niels Bohr Institute had some outstanding guests in the past…
It’s time to stay put for a bit! I’ll be teaching general relativity this Fall.
