Biology

I have enjoyed the practical experience more than the course work. In your first year in the biology department you are allowed to rotate in four different labs before choosing which lab you want to do your thesis dissertation in. We had to give a "rotation talk" to the department at the end of each rotation. This also helped to develop presentation skills.

Being part of the Hopkins graduate community has been a gratifying learning experience.
