One thing that has impressed me about Hopkins is the fact that faculty members seem genuinely interested in helping students succeed in their graduate studies.  Both in and out of class, professors have taken time to ensure that I understand the material and have been very supportive.

The graduate program at JHU has provided me with the opportunity to work with state-of-the art research techniques.  My advisor has taken a personal interest in my project and is helping me work out the problems in a thoughtful and careful manner.
